Japan Aspire Lounge

We visited the Narita Aspire Lounge on May 24, 2024. It's located in Narita International Airport (NRT), specifically in Terminal 2, near gate 73 on the 4th floor. It's easy to find and get to, which was a big plus for us. ## Ambiance and Design ![](/images/screenshot-2024-06-18-at-5.24.41 pm.png) The lounge has a modern and stylish vibe with a sleek, contemporary design. Warm lighting, comfy seating, and a smart layout made us feel welcome right away. The large windows let in lots of natural light and give great views of the tarmac, adding to the relaxing feel. The decor mixes Japanese minimalist style with practical Western amenities, making it a great spot for international travelers like us. ## Seating and Comfort ![](/images/screenshot-2024-06-18-at-5.20.29 pm.png) ![](/images/screenshot-2024-06-18-at-5.20.18 pm.png) There are plenty of seating options, from plush armchairs and high-top tables to single seats, cubicles, work desks, and pods. We found the seats very comfy, even for longer stays. There are also recliners with footrests for those looking to relax. Business travelers will appreciate the workstations with lots of power outlets and USB ports. The lounge is divided into several large seating areas, offering both privacy and plenty of space to relax or work. ## Food and Beverage ![](/images/aspire-food.png) ![](/images/screenshot-2024-06-18-at-5.19.43 pm.png) The food and drink selection is decent but a bit limited. The buffet had curry, miso soup, and some Western breakfast items when we were there. Don’t expect staple Japanese dishes like sushi and ramen. The drink selection is good, with beer, wine, spirits, and sake available. Just note that the bar only opens at 1pm. Soft drinks, coffee, tea, and fresh juices are available all day. ## Amenities The Narita Aspire Lounge has plenty of amenities to make your stay more comfortable: * Wi-Fi: Free high-speed internet access throughout the lounge. * Showers: Four clean and well-maintained shower facilities. * Workstations: Dedicated areas with computers and printers, perfect for business travelers. * Entertainment: A variety of magazines, newspapers, and TVs with international channels. * Flight Information: Real-time flight information displays to keep you updated on your departure. ## Cleanliness and Maintenance We found the lounge to be very clean and well-maintained. The staff regularly cleaned the seating areas, dining spaces, and restrooms. The shower facilities were spotless and well-stocked with fresh towels and toiletries. The whole place feels new and clean, making for a pleasant stay. ## Customer Service The staff at the Narita Aspire Lounge were friendly and professional, speaking both Japanese and English. However, they didn’t clear the tables while we were there and mostly left us alone, which wasn’t a big deal but something to note. Service was consistent, with food well-stocked and no significant complaints from us. ## Pricing and Access We accessed the lounge for free with the DragonPass, but note that they don’t accept Priority Pass. For regular adult entry, the price is ¥5900 for three hours. Considering the amenities, it might not be worth paying the full price unless you need a shower. There are plenty of excellent food options in Narita Airport for less than half the lounge entry cost. ## Overall Experience The Narita Aspire Lounge offers a comfortable and convenient retreat for travelers. While the food variety is limited, the quality is decent, and the overall ambiance is relaxing and perfect for both work and relaxation. Its convenient location, combined with great amenities and decent customer service, makes it a good choice for many travelers passing through Narita International Airport. ## Tips for Visiting the Narita Aspire Lounge * Check for Pass Access: If you have a DragonPass, you can access the lounge for free. It’s a great way to unwind before your flight. ## Summary * Location: Terminal 2, near gate 73, 4th floor. * Ambiance: Modern, comfortable, with natural light and panoramic tarmac views. * Seating: Variety of comfortable seating options, including work-friendly areas with power sockets. * Food and Beverage: Limited variety but decent quality, good alcohol selection post-1pm. * Amenities: Wi-Fi, showers, workstations, entertainment, real-time flight info. * Cleanliness: High standards, well-maintained. * Customer Service: Friendly but hands-off, tables not cleared promptly. * Pricing: ¥5900 for three hours, free with DragonPass, no Priority Pass accepted.
